These terms govern your use of Motorsaver.my, a motor insurance comparison and referral service operated by YourPortal Sdn Bhd. By using this site you agree to these terms.
WHAT TO KNOW
The short version.
- We compare, not insure — Motorsaver.my is a comparison and referral platform; your policy is issued by RHB Insurance Berhad
- Accurate information — you are responsible for the accuracy of vehicle, mileage, and personal details you provide
- No guarantee of rebate — rebate estimates are indicative; final rebate is calculated by RHB Insurance Berhad at policy issuance
- No warranty — the service is provided as-is; we exclude implied warranties to the extent permitted by Malaysian law
- Governing law — these terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts
About this service
Motorsaver.my is operated by YourPortal Sdn Bhd, a company registered in Malaysia. We provide a motor insurance comparison and referral service. We are not an insurer and do not issue policies. When you apply for cover through this site you are applying to RHB Insurance Berhad, a licensed Malaysian insurer.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Malaysia to use this service. By submitting a quote request you confirm you meet these requirements and that the vehicle details you provide are accurate.
How the service works
Motorsaver.my collects your vehicle and mileage data and uses it to generate an indicative rebate estimate for mileage-based motor insurance products offered by RHB Insurance Berhad. If you choose to proceed, we refer you to RHB Insurance Berhad who will issue a policy and calculate your final rebate. We earn a referral fee from RHB Insurance Berhad; this does not affect the premium or rebate you receive.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Providing false or misleading information may void your policy. You must not use this site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that disrupts or interferes with the service.
Rebate estimates
Rebate estimates shown on this site are indicative only. They are calculated using the mileage band and premium data you provide. The final rebate is determined by RHB Insurance Berhad based on your verified policy details and may differ from the estimate shown. We make no guarantee as to the final rebate amount.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of YourPortal Sdn Bhd or its content suppliers and is protected by Malaysian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written consent.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, YourPortal Sdn Bhd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Data and privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice and Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. By using this service you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
